Aspen Community Foundation Donates $582,500 to Nonprofits from Aspen to Parachute

Aspen Community Foundation’s giving network provided $582,500 to nonprofits supporting youth wellbeing from Aspen to Parachute.
The giving network is a group of local philanthropists exploring issues impacting the outcomes of youth and families in the Roaring Fork Valley. In 2023, the group focused on improving the health and wellbeing of youth and families through supporting family resource centers, increasing school-based resources, increasing bilingual and bicultural capabilities, and expanding programs that build resiliency and prevent mental health crises.
The $582,500 will be distributed to the following nonprofits:
- Stepping Stones of the Roaring Fork Valley
- Aspen Hope Center
- CASA of the Ninth
- Great Expectations
- Pathfinders
- Aspen Youth Center
- YouthZone
- Early Childhood Network
- Aspen Family Connections
- Family Resource Center of the Roaring Fork Schools
- FocusedKids
- Valley Settlement
- Garfield 16 School-Based Family Resource Center
- Garfield Re2 One Door Family Resource Center
- Yampah Mountain High School
Members of the giving network meet several times a year to learn from experts to identify solutions through conversations and collaborative learning. Applications for the 2024 giving network grant cycle are open through Feb. 14. Applications are open at http://www.giving-network.org.
